A country located along the Southeast Asia Peninsula - VIETNAM. My second visit to this developing nation not for holiday, but for its nature and wildlife, ie. chasing birds. Thanks to its geographical location and tropical terrain, much endemic birds can be found residing there, calling the country it's home. 1. BAR - BELLIED PITTA => The most attractive and highly sought pitta of Vietnam. The female has a yellowish outlook while the male has a more greenish look with a green crown. This pitta is one of the most sought bird in Vietnam, and one of the most beautiful pitta ever seen. 2. BLUE - RUMPED PITTA => An earth-toned look where both the male and female look very similar. The female is much duller and has a lighter blue crown while the male has a very distinct blue crown and greener back. 3. RUSTY - NAPED PITTA => Another earth-toned bird but with a dirty-brown belly.
